What is Permanent Makeup?  It is a cosmetic tattoo using very delicate and skilled techniques to implant pigment in such a way that it looks natural and fades naturally to allow for aging changes to be made.

 lash enhancement

A lash enhancement is designed to give the appearance of thicker darker lashes and define the eye without the look of a full eyeliner.  It is a great option for people with thinner natural lashes, fair lashes or if you don’t like a made-up look but would like a little frame around your eyes.  It is also a great entry level liner if you are not sure how big you want to go. The bottom line can be done if required also.

A shaded liner is very beautiful and very delicate.  It can have a soft wing and has a smokey lash line with some soft gentle shading onto the lid.  All the smoke without the smudge! The bottom line can be done if required also.

wedge

A wedge is a great option if you want darkness but have a more hooded eye that won’t carry off a wing.  The bottom line can be done if required also.

A winged liner will never go out of style!  Done right it is beautiful.  Your wing should work with your eye, socket and lashes.  We place this perfectly for you.  The question is, how big will you go?  We can discuss what will suit you and the best placement at consult.  A wing can be a full dense liner or a soft smokey edged liner.  The bottom line can be done if required also.

Velvet liner is defined, beautiful but has a very softly implanted density that gradually fades towards the perimeter. Its soft, sexy and smokey! The bottom line can be done if required also.

The
process

Initial eyebrow treatments usually take around 2-2.5 hours (consultation included).  There is no downtime with this procedure. Your new tattoo may scab a little (it resembles dry skin on the eyelid), but you do not have to take time off work, this is a superficial treatment that heals easily and quickly.  A little swelling of the eyelids may occur.  You may have some minimal pinpoint bruising, but it is rarely visible to others.

We offer a free consultation service for anyone who is unsure of the options or feel a little nervous about the treatment. If you know you are ready and just want to get booked in, we will consult and talk you through everything on treatment day.  We will chat about your expectations, your thoughts and wishes and the options available to your skin type.

We may also run through some of your medical data if we see anything that needs further investigation. Your safety is of utmost importance to us.

procedure

Using a very fine needle or needles, the permanent makeup procedure gives the effect of beautiful eyeliner.  Each treatment starts with mapping and drawing a shape that suits your face.  No stencils and no gimmicks, just an artistic eye and experience. 

Once you are happy with the shape, we begin the tattooing process.  It is virtually pain free for almost everyone, the discomfort is very minimal.  We do stretch the skin tightly, this is reassuring as we are very close to the eye.   This prevents you opening the eye and makes the skin nice and taught for the perfect tattoo.  

Balm is applied throughout the treatment to keep your skin supple and as trauma free as possible. Most people enjoy the appointment and are very pleasantly surprised by how relaxed it is.

aftercare

We provide you with instructions on how to look after your new liner and we will also provide you with aftercare balm if we think it is needed including application instructions.  You can also find our aftercare instructions here.

follow up

We have every client come back at around 6 weeks after the initial treatment to colour and perfect where necessary. This second appointment is complimentary, but essential to make sure your eyeliner is perfect.  Skin can be contrary and everyone heals a little differently.

your treatment lasts you years

Skin is very fickle but, generally speaking, our clients need to return for a liner refresh/colour boost at around 24-36 months.  Some people may need to come a little more frequently, usually if there is an underlying medical condition or they have a job where it affects retention.  Some people need less, some skin types naturally hang on to the colour for longer.
